Russia launched an attack on Ukraine's Odesa region with drones and ballistic missiles, damaging port infrastructure and a civilian cargo ship. The attack occurred on October 6, causing a fire in a 100-m² warehouse building, but no casualties were reported. The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine stated that a civilian cargo vessel was damaged during the attack with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that the Iskander-M missile struck a container ship unloading ammunition and Western military equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the port of Yuzhny in the Odesa region. The Russian Defense Ministry released footage of the vessel's destruction.
