Russia has accused Ukraine of attempting to attack the TurkStream gas pipeline infrastructure with nine drones on January 11. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the drones targeted the Russkaya compressor station in the Krasnodar region. The ministry stated that all drones were shot down, resulting in minor damage to the station's infrastructure from debris, but no casualties were reported. The attack was purportedly aimed at disrupting gas supplies to European countries. The TurkStream pipeline, which runs from Russia under the Black Sea to Turkey and then to Europe, remains operational despite the incident.
