VisitRome Raises $9M from Hack VC and Polygon Ventures to Integrate Solana with Ethereum Layer-2

Rome, a blockchain startup, has raised $9 million in funding from investors including Hack VC, Polygon Ventures, HashKeyGroup, and PortalVentures. The funds will be used to integrate Solana as an auxiliary network for Ethereum Layer-2 blockchains. This integration aims to enhance Ethereum’s Layer-2 solutions by leveraging Solana's speed and decentralization. Co-founded by Anil Kumar and Sattvik Kansal, Rome plans to utilize Solana’s shared sequencers and data availability to improve the scalability and interoperability of Ethereum Layer-2 networks.
