Rivian Delivers 14,183 Vehicles in Q4, Stock Rises 5.7% Pre-Market

Rivian Automotive Inc. reported that it delivered 14,183 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2024, surpassing the Wall Street consensus estimate of 13,472 vehicles. The company also produced 12,727 vehicles during the same period. For the full year, Rivian produced 49,476 vehicles and delivered 51,579, meeting its revised guidance of between 50,500 and 52,000 deliveries. The company noted that a previous shortage of a shared component on the R1 and RCV platforms, which had constrained production, is no longer an issue. Rivian's stock saw a pre-market increase of 5.7% following the announcement of these figures.
