VisitRFK Jr. Removed from Nevada Ballot by Court Order After Agreement with Democrats
Aug 27, 2024, 10:39 PM
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will not appear on Nevada's presidential ballot as an independent candidate following an agreement with state Democrats. The deal, which includes dismissing a lawsuit with prejudice, was reached after Democrats sued to remove Kennedy from the ballot. A court order was signed to finalize his removal. The Nevada Democratic Party's executive director stated that removing Kennedy was the right decision to ensure all candidates adhere to the rules. Although polling on the impact of Kennedy's removal is inconsistent, internal polling from the Trump campaign suggested that two-thirds of Kennedy's supporters in Nevada would back Trump.
