During the conversation, Trump described the bullet that hit him as feeling like 'the world’s largest mosquito' and mentioned a call he had with President Joe Biden, who insensitively questioned how Trump knew to turn his head when the bullet struck. Trump also attempted to coax Kennedy out of the presidential race and shared an anti-vaccine message. Kennedy expressed regret for not stopping the recording and apologized for the leak, which was reportedly posted by his son.
