Early voting for the 2024 general elections has commenced in Nevada, with Republicans leading in turnout. As of October 20, a total of 76,474 votes have been cast in the state, comprising both mail-in and in-person ballots. Republicans account for 46% of the votes (35,247 votes), Democrats 31.7% (24,258 votes), and others 22.3% (16,969 votes). In-person voting saw Republicans garnering 53% of the votes, while Democrats had 28%, and others 19%. Mail-in ballots showed a narrower margin, with Republicans at 38% and Democrats at 36%. In Clark County, which includes Las Vegas, Republicans led with 14,750 votes over Democrats' 9,146 votes on the first day of early voting, a significant shift from 2020 when Democrats led by 7%.
