Mace, who has been vocal about protecting women in spaces such as restrooms, reported that she was physically accosted by a pro-transgender man over her stance on transgender issues. The assault resulted in injuries to her wrist and arm, requiring medical attention. Capitol Police confirmed the arrest, stating that McIntyre is facing charges for assaulting a government official. Your threats will not stop my fight for women!"
