VisitRemains of Texas Teenager Amanda Overstreet Found in Freezer at Colorado Home After 19 Years
Oct 12, 2024, 02:49 AM
Authorities in Mesa County, Colorado, have identified dismembered human remains found in a freezer earlier this year as belonging to 16-year-old Texas resident Amanda Overstreet, who was last seen alive in 2005. The remains, including a human head and arms, were discovered in January when someone collecting a freezer that had been given away by the new owner of a recently sold home in Grand Junction found the body parts inside. Overstreet was the daughter of the home's former owner. The Mesa County Coroner's Office confirmed her identity. A homicide investigation has been launched by the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
