Oct 20, 2024, 09:28 PM
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 20-15 at SoFi Stadium, ending their two-game losing streak with a strong defensive performance. Cornerback Cobie Durant was instrumental, recording an interception, a sack, and forcing a fumble that safety Cam Curl returned 34 yards for a touchdown. This defensive touchdown contributed to 14 points off Raiders’ turnovers. Rookie safety Jaylen McCollough added two interceptions, including one that sealed the victory. The Rams' Kyren Williams scored two touchdowns, and the team held their largest lead of the season, 14-6, at halftime. Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew struggled, committing three interceptions and two fumbles, both resulting in touchdowns for the Rams. Despite tight end Brock Bowers’ 11 catches for 94 yards, the Raiders could not overcome their turnovers. Cobie Durant's crucial pass breakup early in the game held the Raiders to a field goal. The Rams capitalized on mistakes and held off the Raiders' late efforts to secure their second win of the season.
