Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers, at just 21 years old, continued his record-breaking debut season with an impressive performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on November 29. Despite the Raiders' loss, Bowers recorded 10 receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown, including a spectacular one-handed catch. This brings his season total to 84 receptions through 12 games, trailing only Odell Beckham Jr. for the most receptions by a rookie in that span. Bowers needs just three more catches to set the NFL record for most receptions by a rookie tight end, currently held by Sam LaPorta with 86 in 2023. He is on pace to surpass Zach Ertz's single-season tight end records of 156 targets and 116 receptions. Bowers is the first rookie tight end ever to record three games with 10 or more receptions. At only 21, Bowers is being hailed as one of the most talented tight ends in the league and a potential future legend.
