Aug 11, 2024, 12:56 AM
Quincy Wilson, a 16-year-old from Bowie and a Gaithersburg native, has made history by becoming the youngest U.S. male track and field athlete to win an Olympic gold medal. Wilson, a student at Bullis School, was part of the U.S. 4x400 meter relay team that secured gold at the Paris Olympics. Although he ran in the preliminaries, his contribution earned him a gold medal. Wilson, a rising high school junior, will soon return to Gaithersburg to continue his education at Bullis High School.
