Quincy Jones, the legendary music producer and composer who collaborated with artists such as Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and toured with Count Basie, has died at the age of 91. His publicist, Arnold Robinson, confirmed that Jones passed away on Sunday night at his home in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles, surrounded by his family. Jones's influential career spanned over six decades, during which he won 28 Grammy Awards and received 80 nominations. He was known for producing Michael Jackson's best-selling "Thriller" album, overseeing the charity single "We Are the World," and composing prize-winning film and television scores.
