VisitQueensland Police Launch International Manhunt for Hanlon Park Baby Scalding Suspect

Queensland Police have confirmed they are working with interstate and international partner agencies to locate a man who allegedly poured scalding coffee on a nine-month-old baby in Hanlon Park, Brisbane. The foreign national, who has links to Victoria, fled the country shortly after the attack. Detectives missed apprehending him by about 12 hours. An arrest warrant has been issued, and an international search is underway. The baby suffered serious burns from the incident, which occurred during a family picnic. The attacker used a Thermos to pour the hot coffee. The parents of the infant have recently spoken out following the attacker's escape.
