Polygon has successfully upgraded its native token from $MATIC to $POL. The migration process, which involved the automatic transition for most holders, has seen over 6.4 billion tokens migrated in total, including 1 billion tokens in the past 24 hours. $POL will now serve as the gas and staking token for Polygon’s ecosystem, marking a significant step towards a more interconnected and efficient network. HTX has completed the token swap and opened $POL for spot trading. The migration was executed on a 1:1 ratio, ensuring that $MATIC holders received an equivalent amount of $POL.
