Meanwhile, France's Antoine Dupont made history by becoming the first player to win the World Player of the Year award in both 15s and Sevens formats. Dupont's accolades include leading France to Olympic glory in Sevens rugby under the guidance of Coach of the Year Jérôme Daret, and being named the best player in the world in Sevens rugby, three years after receiving the same honor in 15s rugby.
