VisitPhiladelphia Reaches One-Year Contract Agreement with District Council 47, Including 4.4% Salary Increase
Sep 6, 2024, 08:22 PM
The city of Philadelphia has reached an agreement with its white-collar workers union, District Council 47 AFSCME, on a one-year contract extension. The agreement includes a 4.4% salary increase, one-time bonuses, extended parental and sick leave, and an additional lump-sum payment into the Health & Welfare Fund of DC47. This leaves only the blue-collar workers union, AFSCME DC 33, working without a contract. Mayor Cherelle Parker announced the deal, which also provides a pay raise and other benefits for signing the extension.
