Philadelphia DA Sues Elon Musk's America PAC Over $1 Million 'Illegal Lottery' to Swing State Voters

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk and his pro-Trump political action committee, America PAC, to halt a $1 million daily giveaway to registered voters in swing states, including Pennsylvania. Krasner alleges that the giveaway constitutes an illegal lottery, violates state consumer protection laws, and may interfere with election integrity. The U.S. Department of Justice had previously warned that the sweepstakes might violate federal law. A hearing is set for Friday in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. The lawsuit seeks to stop the giveaway ahead of the upcoming presidential election on November 5.
