PF: Bolsonaro's Escape Plan Involved Weapons, Military Tactics, and Miami Stay Amid Coup Attempts

The Federal Police (PF) has revealed that former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro had an escape plan involving the use of weapons and military tactics. This scheme, initially set up in March 2021, was intended to be executed in case of a supposed intervention by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) in the Executive branch or the potential impeachment of Bolsonaro's ticket. According to the PF's final report on the coup plot, Bolsonaro and his allies left Brazil at the end of 2022 to avoid arrest and to wait for the outcome of the January 8, 2023, coup attempts. Bolsonaro's trip to Miami was part of this escape plan, and he stayed in Orlando for three months. The plan was adapted for the end of 2022, involving co-opted military personnel.
