VisitPatrushev Claims US, NATO Involvement in Kursk Attack Could Trigger Global Conflict
Aug 16, 2024, 05:12 AM
A series of statements and interviews have emerged accusing the United States and NATO of involvement in Ukraine's attack on Russia's Kursk region. Nikolai Patrushev, a Kremlin aide, claimed in an interview with Izvestia that the attack was planned with the participation of Western special services and NATO, despite official denials from the United States. Former Pentagon adviser Douglas MacGregor suggested that the US provided intelligence to Ukraine to create an illusion of progress in the conflict. Ukrainian President Zelensky's adviser, Mykhailo Podolyak, admitted that discussions about the attack were held with Western partners, although not publicly. Russia has warned that this Western-backed attack could escalate into a global conflict, as reported by Anna News.
