VisitParents Turn In Teens After Flash Mob Robberies at Over a Dozen LA 7-Elevens
Oct 2, 2024, 08:32 PM
Over the past few weeks, more than a dozen 7-Eleven convenience stores in Los Angeles have been ransacked by flash mobs of teenagers. Groups of 20 to 40 youths rode bicycles to the stores and participated in the robberies. In response, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) released security footage of the incidents, seeking public assistance in identifying the suspects. Several parents recognized their own children in the footage and turned them in to the police. The LAPD reports that at least three juveniles have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after being brought in by their parents. Authorities praised the parents for their cooperation and for doing the right thing.
