Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas Urges UN to Stop Sending Weapons to Israel

Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas has called on the international community to cease sending weapons to Israel to halt the ongoing bloodshed in the West Bank and Gaza. During his address to the United Nations General Assembly, Abbas condemned Israeli actions in Lebanon, stating that Israel's refusal to implement UN resolutions makes it unworthy of membership in the organization. Abbas emphasized that the Palestinian Authority will control Palestinian territories in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, rejecting the establishment of Israeli buffer zones. He also urged an end to what he described as genocide, the killing of children and women, and the crime.
