Pakistan Provides Evidence of TTP Involvement in March 26 Attack on Chinese Engineers

Pakistan has provided evidence implicating the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the March 26 suicide attack that killed five Chinese engineers and a local diver in Bisham, northwest Pakistan. The attack, targeting a convoy of engineers working on a dam, was orchestrated by TTP leader Noor Wali Mehsud from Afghanistan. Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that the Afghan government has yet to act on the provided evidence. Eleven suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack. Pakistan has urged Afghanistan's Taliban government to hand over the TTP terrorists involved.
