The government of Pakistan has successfully negotiated with protesters in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), resulting in the acceptance of all their demands. Following violent clashes, which led to the deaths of four people and over 100 injuries, the government agreed to reduce electricity and flour prices. Prime Minister announced a 23 billion rupee relief package, and a new notification was issued. The Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) announced the cessation of protests after the demands were met. The protests were against soaring inflation, high taxes, and electricity bills. Internet restoration in AJK has also been requested.
