Pakistan's Foreign Office has confirmed the execution of an intelligence-based operation in the border areas of Afghanistan targeting terrorist elements. The operation was officially acknowledged by Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, who stated that the action was a response to threats posed by terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan. The Pakistani military has expressed concerns regarding the presence of terrorist training centers in Afghanistan, which it claims pose a risk to Pakistan's national security. The military's Director General, Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, emphasized that Pakistan has repeatedly warned the interim Afghan government about the dangers of harboring these groups. The operation aligns with Pakistan's ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of its citizens amid rising security threats from across the border.
