VisitPackers Sign Kenny Clark to Three-Year, $64 Million Extension with $17.5 Million Signing Bonus
Jul 21, 2024, 10:12 PM
The Green Bay Packers have signed Pro Bowl nose tackle Kenny Clark to a three-year, $64 million contract extension. Clark, who has been a key player for the Packers' defense, will receive $29 million in 2024 as part of the deal, which was negotiated by Wasserman agents David Hendrickson and CJ LaBoy. The contract includes a $17.5 million signing bonus and raises Clark's average annual value to slightly over $21 million, making him the 10th highest-paid defensive tackle in the NFL. Clark, who was the Packers' first-round pick in 2016, is entering his ninth season with the team at 28 years old. This extension ensures that Clark, a multi-year Pro Bowler known for his durability, will remain with the Packers for the foreseeable future. Clark is also the longest-tenured player on the team, and the extension comes on the eve of training camp.
