VisitPackers QB Jordan Love Suffers MCL Sprain in 34-29 Loss to Eagles
Sep 7, 2024, 07:35 PM
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered an apparent lower leg injury in the final seconds of the team's 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday. Love was helped off the field, and Malik Willis came in for the final two plays. Initial tests indicated that Love's ACL is intact, but further scans revealed an MCL sprain. The injury is not expected to be season-ending, but Love is expected to miss some time. The timeline for his return is still to be determined, with estimates ranging from 3-6 weeks. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur stated that he does not yet know the full extent of the injury.
