VisitPackers' Jaire Alexander Likely Out for Season After Arthroscopic Knee Surgery
Jan 1, 2025, 07:57 PM
Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander is likely done for the season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Alexander tore his PCL in Week 8, attempted a return in Week 11 but re-aggravated the injury after playing just 10 snaps, and has not played since. LaFleur said, "He was trying to get his knee right and it wasn't getting right. It's a tough deal for everyone. It stinks that we're here, but we're here." While the surgery is not considered major and there is a slim possibility he could return if the Packers reach the Super Bowl, he is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
