The Pac-12 Conference has officially announced the addition of four Mountain West schools: Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State, and Colorado State. These schools will join the conference starting July 1, 2026. The move aims to rebuild the Pac-12, which currently consists of only Oregon State and Washington State. The expansion will bring the total number of Pac-12 members to six, but the conference still needs two more schools by 2026 to maintain its FBS status. The Mountain West schools face exit fees of $17 million each, and the Pac-12 will pay additional penalties totaling $43 million. An official announcement is expected at 9 a.m. ET today.
