VisitOver 30 Western Components Found in Downed Russian S-70 Hunter-B Drone
Nov 9, 2024, 05:22 AM
Components made in the US, Switzerland, and Germany were found in the Russian S-70 Okhotnik drone, which was downed on October 5 near Kostiantynivka. Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR) revealed that the downed heavy Hunter-B drone contained over 30 Western-made components. These included microelectronics from U.S. companies such as Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, and Xilinx, as well as from Infineon Technologies (Germany) and STMicroelectronics (Switzerland). The presence of Western parts in Russian military equipment continues to be a concern for Ukraine.
