Oregon received 59 first-place votes in the AP poll, while Georgia received two. Texas dropped from No. 1 to No. 5 after the home defeat, and Georgia is now ranked No. 2. Penn State and Ohio State occupy the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively. Vanderbilt entered the AP Top 25, while Michigan fell out of the rankings.
