Oprah Winfrey has denied receiving a $1 million payment from Kamala Harris's campaign for her endorsement, contradicting Federal Election Commission (FEC) records that reportedly show two payments of $500,000 each. Winfrey's production company, Harpo Productions, clarified that the campaign only covered production costs for an event titled 'Unite for America,' held outside Detroit, Michigan, and not a personal fee for Winfrey. Despite this, questions arise as to why Winfrey would deny the payments when they are documented in FEC filings.
