The collaboration aims to enhance OpenAI's AI tools, including ChatGPT, by integrating Time's trusted journalism. Time will also leverage OpenAI's technology to develop new products and innovate its news delivery methods. The companies announced the deal on Thursday, emphasizing the mutual benefits of combining Time's historical and current content with OpenAI's advanced AI capabilities. Time Chief Operating Officer Mark Howard highlighted that the partnership will also enable OpenAI to display content in response to user inquiries.
