VisitOntario to Require 70% on Financial Literacy Test for High School Graduation

The Ontario government has announced that high school students will soon be required to pass a financial literacy test to graduate. This new requirement, introduced by Education Minister Stephen Lecce, mandates that students must score 70% or higher on the test. The financial literacy assessment will become a part of the high school graduation requirements, starting with 10th grade students. Additionally, the province will reintroduce home economics as part of the curriculum. The changes were announced Thursday morning and are part of a host of changes for teens.
