French forward Guerschon Yabusele has agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million minimum contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. Yabusele, who previously played for the Boston Celtics, is returning to the NBA after a stint with Real Madrid, resolving a $2.5 million contract buyout. He was a standout performer for France during the Paris Olympics, helping the team secure a silver medal and averaging 14 points per game, with 19.67 points in his last three games. The 2016 No. 16 overall pick, Yabusele is expected to share duties in the power forward position with Caleb Martin.
