OKX Launches Ethereum Layer-2 'X Layer' for 50M Users, Utilizes Zero-Knowledge Tech

Crypto exchange OKX has officially launched its Ethereum Layer-2 network, named X Layer. This new network, which utilizes zero-knowledge proof technology, is powered by Polygon's technology. X Layer aims to enhance transaction speeds and reduce costs, making it more efficient for over 50 million users to interact with on-chain applications such as Etherfi and Chainlink. The network supports functionalities such as on-chain swaps, cross-chain transfers, NFT trading, and dApp interactions with over 200+ dApps. It is also EVM-compatible, ensuring seamless integration with existing Ethereum applications. OKX's platform token, $OKB, will serve as the native asset for paying transaction fees on X Layer.
