Oklahoma Seeks Supreme Court Intervention Over Title X Funding and Abortion Referrals

Oklahoma has filed an emergency application with the U.S. Supreme Court to challenge the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' decision to withhold millions of dollars in Title X funding. The funding, which supports family planning clinics, was stripped from Oklahoma after the state refused to provide abortion referrals. Oklahoma is seeking intervention from the Supreme Court, currently on the shadow docket, to restore these funds, arguing that the withholding of Title X funding is unjustified.
