Nvidia Corp. has announced a strategic partnership with Toyota Motor Corp. to power the next generation of autonomous vehicles. The collaboration, unveiled at CES 2025, involves Toyota integrating Nvidia's Drive AGX Orin supercomputer and the safety-focused operating system, DriveOS, into its upcoming vehicles. This move aims to enhance automated driving capabilities in Toyota's future models. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the partnership as part of a broader initiative to transform the automotive industry into a major AI and robotics sector, projecting a multi-trillion-dollar market. The partnership extends Nvidia's existing collaborations with Toyota, which have included cloud-based computing for autonomous vehicle development since 2017.
