VisitNvidia Partners With Toyota at CES 2025 to Develop Autonomous Vehicles Using Drive AGX Orin and DriveOS

Nvidia Corp. CEO Jensen Huang announced at CES 2025 that the company has entered into a partnership with Toyota Motor Corp. to develop next-generation autonomous vehicles. Toyota's future vehicles will be equipped with Nvidia's Drive AGX Orin supercomputer and the DriveOS operating system, enhancing their automated driving capabilities. Huang also highlighted the significant growth potential of Nvidia's automotive business, projecting it to expand to $5 billion in fiscal 2026. Additionally, Huang discussed the broader implications of AI and robotics, suggesting that the autonomous vehicle industry could be the first multi-trillion dollar robotics sector, and that AI agents represent a multi-trillion dollar opportunity. He also forecasted a 'ChatGPT moment' for general robotics, indicating a major advancement in the field is imminent. Alongside Toyota, Nvidia is also partnering with Aurora Innovation and Continental to deploy driverless trucks at scale using the Nvidia Drive Thor system-on-a-chip.
