The flaw, which was entirely Nvidia's fault, resulted in low yield despite the chips being functional. Huang emphasized that the issue had nothing to do with TSMC. With TSMC's assistance, Nvidia has successfully resolved the design flaw, paving the way for enhanced performance and reliability in AI applications. The resolution of this issue is expected to significantly improve the functionality of Nvidia's AI chips. Nvidia's stock was down 0.7% pre-market following the announcement.
