Additionally, Djokovic has now reached the most Grand Slam quarterfinals ever, with 59 appearances, surpassing Federer's 58. Djokovic's recent win against Francisco Cerundolo in a five-set thriller (6-1, 5-7, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3) marks his second consecutive five-set victory at the tournament. The match lasted four hours and 40 minutes, showcasing Djokovic's resilience as he fought back from being two sets to one down and 2-4 in the fourth set. This victory secures his place in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros for the 15th consecutive time. Djokovic, 37, overcame injury and played 10 sets in 48 hours. He also ties for the most 5-set wins at Roland Garros.
