North Korea has agreed to send troops to support Russia's invasion of Ukraine in exchange for economic aid, according to South Korean intelligence. The agreement includes Russia paying $2,000 per month for each North Korean soldier, potentially generating over $200 million annually for Pyongyang. Additionally, North Korea has requested 600,000-700,000 tons of rice per year and $200 million in financial aid. This mutual defense pact signifies a deepening military cooperation between the two nations. Russia will also send 600,000 tons of grain annually as part of the agreement.
