Arizona State University (ASU), ranked No. 14, dominated the University of Arizona 49-7 in the Territorial Cup, potentially securing a spot in the Big 12 championship game on December 7 in Arlington. ASU's victory, led by running back Cam Skattebo's outstanding performance of 113 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the first half, marks the Sun Devils' first 10-win season since 2014. The Sun Devils scored touchdowns on their first four possessions, building a 28-0 lead with 6:28 remaining in the second quarter. Quarterback Sam Leavitt connected with Jordyn Tyson for a 13-yard touchdown, and Tyson accumulated 76 receiving yards in the first quarter alone, including a 59-yard catch-and-run. ASU amassed nearly 400 yards in the first half, while Arizona managed only 57 yards and did not enter the red zone throughout the game. With the win, ASU remains in contention for the Big 12 championship, along with Colorado, BYU, and Iowa State. The Sun Devils await the outcomes of other games to determine their fate in the conference championship.
