VisitNick Hardt Clinches First ATP Win, Ends Dominican ATP Drought

Nick Hardt, a 23-year-old tennis player from the Dominican Republic, achieved his first ATP main draw win by defeating 18-year-old Martin Landaluce at the Barcelona Open. Hardt, who entered the tournament as a last-minute alternate, won the match with scores of 2-6, 6-4, 6-3. This victory also marked the first ATP win by a Dominican since Burgos in Quito in 2018. Hardt's success in Barcelona includes a total of eight consecutive wins, having also claimed victory in a Challenger event there prior to this tournament.
