Nicholas Rossi to Stand Trial in Utah for Rape Charges After Faking Death

Nicholas Rossi, an American accused of faking his own death in 2020 and fleeing to Britain to evade rape charges, will stand trial in Utah. A judge ruled on Thursday that the trial will proceed. Rossi, who allegedly assumed the identity of an Irish orphan named 'Arthur Knight' when caught, appeared in person at the Matheson Courthouse in Salt Lake City. The charges stem from accusations of rape in Orem, Utah.
