Ahead of the Independence Day celebrations in the national capital, Delhi Police has heightened security arrangements and put up posters of various terrorists linked with Al Qaeda and Khalistan. In a significant development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Rizwan Abdul Haji Ali, a key member of the Pune Islamic State (ISIS) module, in Delhi. Rizwan, a Jamia dropout, was a most wanted terrorist with a bounty of Rs 3 lakh on his head. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police, in collaboration with the NIA, carried out the operation early on Friday. This arrest is part of a broader crackdown on terror activities ahead of the national celebrations.
