Netmarble and Warner Bros. Unveil 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' RPG for 2025

Netmarble and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad,' an action-adventure RPG game set to launch in 2025. Officially licensed by Warner Bros. on behalf of HBO, the game will be available on mobile platforms, with potential expansion to other platforms. Set during season four of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series, players will assume the role of a new character, the heir to House Tyre, a small noble house in the North. Players can customize their character with a robust character creator and choose from three classes: Sellsword, Knight, or Assassin. The game introduces a new storyline where players navigate political infighting and the looming threat from beyond the Wall, mastering unique combat styles to secure their legacy. Launch timing for Asia will be announced next year, according to Netmarble CEO Young-sig Kwon.
