VisitNetherlands, First to Back ICC Warrant, Will Arrest Netanyahu if He Visits

The Netherlands has announced its readiness to act upon the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, becoming the first country to do so. Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp stated that if Netanyahu sets foot on Dutch soil, he will be arrested in compliance with the ICC's warrant. "We are obliged to cooperate with the ICC and we will also do that. We abide 100% by the Rome Statute," Veldkamp said. The Dutch news agency ANP reported Veldkamp's remarks, emphasizing the Netherlands' commitment to uphold the decisions of the ICC. The ICC has issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former defense chief Yoav Gallant.
