Netflix has shut down its AAA gaming studio, Team Blue, in Southern California. The studio, which was operational for less than two years, had been established with the intention of developing big-budget titles for multiple devices, including PC shooter games. The team included industry veterans such as Overwatch's executive producer, Halo Infinite's former head of creative, and a God of War art director. Joseph Staten, a notable hire, was also part of the team. The closure comes amid a broader shake-up as new gaming bosses at Netflix settle in.
