VisitNetanyahu Says Israel 'Settled the Score' by Killing Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah in Beirut Airstrike
Sep 28, 2024, 07:42 PM
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israel has killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, in an airstrike in Beirut yesterday. Netanyahu described Nasrallah as 'the master murderer' and 'the central engine of Iran's axis of evil,' stating that his elimination was necessary to shift the balance of power in the Middle East. "We settled the score with those responsible for the murder of countless Israelis and many citizens of other countries, including hundreds of Americans," Netanyahu said in an official statement. He added, "Therefore, I gave the order, and Nasrallah is no longer with us." Quoting a traditional saying, Netanyahu remarked, "If someone rises up to kill you, kill him first." He also warned that Israel's work is "not complete," suggesting further actions may follow.
